Natural stand collections are made by one of several methods. These include climbing, felling, helicopter collections or ground collections, depending on which method is the most cost-effective or appropriate for the volume of the collection. Custom collections are made in British Columbia for numerous clients in the local forest industry , as well as for clients from other countries.

Seed Orchards
We have been involved in tree improvement for almost 40 years. We currently manage six seed orchards including:
Two Douglas Fir orchards, one for reforestation on coastal British Columbia, and one for Christmas tree growers.
A low elevation Western Hemlock orchard.
A Western Red Cedar orchard for the Pacific Northwest.
Two Sitka Spruce orchards, one for European clients, and the only private Sitka Spruce orchard for weevil resistance.
